- Custom-constructed of breathable, easy-to-handle brushed cotton flannel, this cover keeps out dirt, dust, and abrasive particles while protecting your SSR and letting any trapped moisture evaporate. It features licensed Chevrolet Bowtie and SSR logos embroidered on the front. The cover we now sell is the original material and the only successor to the GM 19202144 OEM cover. Simple Engineering made it a little more of a “relaxed fit” and lengthened the side skirts. It now can cover the OEM running boards (side steps). The original matching bag was too plain and too small, so we include a custom-made, large black draw-string bag embroidered with licensed SSR and Bowtie logos. Although this cover is not intended for outdoor use, it provides awesome protection for your SSR in the garage. It’s thick enough to protect from nearly all sources of “garage rash”….. including grandchildren! GM referred to this cover as a “Storage Cover”. This car cover has been built with a number of GM part numbers. All are very similar, but the 19202144 was the last GM design.
