- After having a shop do a head gasket job/egr job I found that the factory intake tube to the Y bridge was constantly blowing out. Not being happy with the workmanship I remembered Profab from reading articles on the web when researching the problem. This pipe was the perfect solution albeit a bit complicated to install due to my trucks ‘checkered’ history. The pipe came as a kit with all the bolts, washers, spacers and straps you’ll need. It was very professionally packaged and came with a few pieces of swag (Thanks Profab!) If you can in any way, swing the extra cost, buy the pipe with the Y-bridge welded on as it is a pain to get the strap bolted in place and you have to be very careful not to damage the threads in the aluminum intake runners. All in all it works great and solved my problem. 5 Stars! Thank you for making such a great product Profab team!!!!
